We are seeking a driven, sparky and ambitious Junior Recruiter with excellent interpersonal skills and at least three years of end-to-end recruitment experience (in-house or agency) to join our brand new Recruitment Team.
Based in our London office, you will join an international team based across the globe, we come from a mixture of backgrounds ( both agency and in-house) and are responsible for all recruitment requirements arising at all levels across our 13 offices (including Cayman, British Virgin Islands, Cyprus, Luxembourg, the UK, Hong Kong, Singapore and Shanghai).
We deliver a fast, efficient, strategic service to our internal stakeholders, ensuring we identify, hire and bring on board the best possible available talent while saving cost to the Firm.
This role is a unique opportunity to gain international, professional services experience, playing a key part in hiring staff at all levels (covering a diverse array of specialisms) across our 13 worldwide offices.
Your role will work closely with internal stakeholders and Partners, advising them on recruitment best practice and strategy, you will have autonomy in how you choose to structure your work, as well as exposure to excellent training and development.
As well as sourcing and recruiting for your designated business areas, you will also be responsible for interview arranging globally, posting jobs and various other admin tasks. This is an ideal opportunity for an agency resourcer who wants to make the transition to work in-house or an in-house junior recruiter wanting to gain valuable international experience.
Responsible for junior hiring across all regions outside Asia (Administrators, PAs, Paralegals and more) across our Law Firm and Fiduciary businesses
Responsible for all recruitment admin globally, including arranging in-person, video call and telephone interviews
Depending on your level of experience, you will be developed to be involved in the hiring of junior fee earning solicitors
Ensures a constant flow of qualified candidates, building a solid talent pipeline
Reviews CVs, conducts tailored searches for direct candidates
Works collaboratively with agencies where required
Once briefed on a role, seeks the necessary approvals and develops a strategy for hiring, including deciding on appropriate channels of advertising/searching. Acts as advisor to the relevant Hiring Manager/Partner on the search
Carries out candidate telephone screenings
Manages job postings on HR Connect and other websites
Manages candidates throughout processes, including providing feedback to those not successful
Responsible for monitoring speculative application inboxes and responding to recruitment enquiries
Makes offers and liaises with local HR teams over on-boarding/induction process
Updates recruitment trackers regularly
Ad hoc project work as we further develop our new internal recruitment function
Involved in developing further employer branding and our careers website
Works closely with our International HR team, communicating and updating consistently
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred
A passion for recruiting, while delivering an excellent service to the business
A minimum of 3 years recruiting experience, in either a recruitment agency or in-house recruitment function is required
Experience recruiting within professional services would be advantageous
Committed to a career in recruitment, ambitious and driven, someone who is hungry to progress in the field
