THE ROLE

The role of the Marketing Technology Manager is to execute an effective programme of global marketing activities in order advance the firm’s strategic objectives. The role involves day-to-day management of a wide range of marketing, technology and communications processes and requires a well-rounded, results-oriented and confident manager. The Marketing Technology Manager is assigned to the Marketing Department and reports to the Head of Brand & Communications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and implement a firm wide SEO strategy for all websites, tailoring the strategy to the relevant regional market, including PRC
• Using Google Analytics, optimise the site(s) performance, map out user path flows and improve overall site(s) functionality
• Manage website development and projects, collaborating with IT and outside agencies as required to fix any issues that arise
• Oversee and develop the firm’s content management system for all sites
• Evolve firm’s AV medium by implementing best practices, set up full suite of AV platforms, manage all accounts and content for increased audience reach
• Lead placement of advertisements with publishers, securing favourable advertising rates and building relationships with account managers
• Manage advertising campaigns through placement, tracking, optimisation, analytics and reporting
• Implement and manage all biddable media campaigns across, but not limited, to Google and LinkedIn and Facebook. Continual analysing, optimisation and reporting on activity
• Advise on how to improve digital targeting campaigns to our key target client and intermediary bases
• Develop optimum social media strategies, ensuring biddable media and display advertising campaigns work seamlessly across all platforms
• Work with the CRM team to implement best practice of tracking and integrating all campaigns, platforms, owned media, and data systems for full picture reporting
• Develop strategy to map and improve clients full online experience to deliver effective lead generation
• Produce monthly management reports (analysis and advice, recommending and tracking KPIs)
• Oversee training of marketing software and user adoption
• Work with global MBD team to ensure all comms are effective, efficient and engaging
• Ensure in depth knowledge of the firm’s brand, style and comms guidelines
• Develop personal knowledge of our industry, sector and key competitors
• Be able to manage workload under pressure and to deadlines with little supervision
• Be able to understand complex issues and learn new information quickly
• Show initiative to solve problems and overcome challenges
• Collaborate and communicate effectively
• Maintain a good working relationship with partners and other key decision makers
• Deliver work of a high quality which meets stated needs without the need for intervention from others
• Maintain overall awareness and supervision of all related marketing activities

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Have a Bachelor’s degree in IT, communications, or a marketing related field
• Have a minimum of five (5) years’ SEO and biddable media experience
• Be familiar with different SEO tools and web crawling tools
• Have expertise in Google Adwords and Analytics
• Be proficient in social media paid advertising platforms
• Have experience with hosting AV content on digital platforms
• Have excellent writing and editing skills
• Have strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Have data management and analysis skills
• Have intermediate HTML coding skills
